Samantha Gadd is an experienced founder, business leader, and employee experience (EX) expert. Samantha is the Founder and CEO of Excellent and Founder and Director of Humankind. Excellent helps organizations develop Employee Experience Design capabilities through learning, certification and community. For over a decade Samantha has been leading the way in EX thinking through growing the leading HR & EX consulting business in NZ, Humankind.
In 2022 Samantha led a group of 34 contributors to write an EX Manifesto for the world, defining employee experience (EX), the values of EX and principles of EX Design. Having worked with hundreds of organisations, advising leaders on how to design compelling and meaningful EX to achieve better business outcomes, Samantha is an expert in how to use co-design as a way forward in today's world of work. It has never been harder to be a people and organisation leader - employees need & expect more from their workplaces. Samantha deeply believes that using EX design is the only way to meet these needs while driving strong organisation outcomes.
