Krista Pederson

Hogan Assessment Systems

Based in China, Krista Pederson is Hogan’s Managing Director of Asia Pacific. With advanced fluency in Chinese and nearly two decades of international business experience, Krista is focused on growing and accelerating Hogan’s brand and business in Asia. She oversees 14 markets in Asia and manages a team that supports Hogan’s 12 distributors in the region with thought leadership, client development, product support, and solutions implementation.

Krista has represented Hogan at conferences and events, speaking at the Association of Test Publishers (ATP) Innovations in Testing Conference, the International Association for Cross-Cultural Psychology (IACCP) Conference in Japan, the DDI Conference on Assessment Center Methods in Shanghai, and many additional distributor and client events each year.

With her cross-cultural experience, Krista has also worked with Hogan’s Data Science team to translate and culturally adapt select Hogan reports and assessments. She recently co-designed and initiated Hogan’s Global Leader Effectiveness Study, a survey that measures leader effectiveness by asking followers about their ideal leaders.

In 2024, Krista became the Chair of the Asia Association of Test Publishers (AATP) Steering Board. Over her 8-year tenure on the board, Krista has supported initiatives including organizing the AATP conference to highlight test publishers in Asia.

Krista is a PhD candidate in Organizational Development and Change (ODC) at Fielding Graduate University. She received her Master’s degree in ODC from Fielding and graduated Magna Cum Laude from Baylor University with a Bachelor of Arts in “University Scholars” Major focused on Sociology and Asian Studies. She received an Honorary Certificate from Tsinghua University for studying Chinese from 2005-2006.
