Shelley Katae is Chief Executive of Tāmaki Regeneration Company (TRC), which was established in 2012 as a crown-entity to work alongside the community, government, Auckland Council and private sector partners to reshape the future of Tāmaki through a significant programme of urban regeneration unique within Aotearoa. Shelley, who is of is of Te Rarawa and Ngāti Porou descent, has a long connection with TRC, having worked for the organisation for 8-years in various roles, initially as the Chief Financial Officer and then the General Manager of Strategy and Performance since 2015.
Shelley is a visionary leader who can connect with a wide range of people and organisations to drive equity outcomes, and has a proven track-record of motivating people behind a cause to enhance wellbeing for Māori and Pasifika whānau.
